The deck lights went in on Thursday. I had some time this evening to take some photos as the weather was comparatively mild for this time of the year. These shots are taken from our bedroom. I am sitting on the bed with the camera on a tripod just inside the room, and the french doors opened onto the deck.
The LED's rotate through about 8 colours, and can be sped up, slowed down, or set to stay on a single colour. Carole had the electrician wire them up so that they are switched on from inside the lounge room, which is great for convenience. There are some brighter blue LED's on each of the stairs at both ends of the deck. The whole effect is beautiful.
The deck flooring has not yet been oiled, so is looking a little lighter than it should. It will look even more impressive after it has been oiled.
